The Dragon heros

Local artistes Christopher Lee, Florence Tan, Cui Peng and Chen Tianwen join acclaimed artistes from China and Hong Kong in this Chinese mythical version of Romeo and Juliet, which depicts the incessant rivalry between the Human and Dragon species in ancient times!
Produced by MediaCorp Studios, The Dragon Heroes is a period drama boosting a stellar cast from China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Popular Chinese artistes Ren Quan and Li Xiaolu (Best Actress winner of the prestigious Golden Horse Award) are the respective male and female lead in the drama. MediaCorp artiste Christopher Lee also stars in the drama, alongside with veteran Hong Kong artistes Felix Wong, Tien Niu, Liang Jiaren and Gao Xiong.

The Dragon Heroes is regarded as the China mythical version of Romeo and Juliet, which depicts the incessant rivalry between the Human and Dragon species in ancient times. The Human prince (Li Quan) falls in love with Shui Linglong (Li Xiaolu), the princess of the Dragon tribe. Despite the long-time warfare, they persist in their love for each other and true love results in the reconciliation of the two species.

Several MediaCorp artistes are included in the acting ensemble. Christopher Lee plays the meaty role of Yan Cheng, who is entangled in a love triangle with Ren Quan and Li Xiaolu. Florence Tan, who is well-liked for her girl-next-door image, plays a wilful character by the name of Wang Mingzhu. Star Search Winner Cui Peng challenges the role of Yao Lie, a Dragon descendant who embodies both kindness and evil. Veteran artiste Chen Tian Wen stars as Xiang Hai, a loyal army general.
